Fortum awarded for the best annual wellbeing plan

Fortum palkittiin parhaasta vuosisuunnitelmasta

Fortum implemented an impactful and practical way to bring learning and wellbeing into teams’ daily work through Wellbeing Toolbox Talks. The Golden Star prize is awarded to Fortum for building a clear and inspiring annual plan for teams’ shared wellbeing discussions and learning.

Fortum selected video content on topics that interest employees and paired them with discussion questions to support shared reflection. In 2025, themes included personal development, mental wellbeing, and collegiality. Through the program, teams paused together to discuss topics related to wellbeing and ways of working.

A regular rhythm, clear materials, and shared discussion moments make the model easy to adopt and genuinely impactful. Congratulations to Fortum for excellent work in promoting learning and wellbeing!

Seure awarded for an inspiring communication initiative

The Golden Star prize is awarded to Seure, who have successfully created an approachable and inspiring communication concept for everyday work: Monday’s Good Deed. (transl. from Maanantain Mieliteko)

Seure offers their employees a meaningful start to the week by sharing a short, inspiring video related to learning. It encourages people to pause and reflect on themes that support everyday wellbeing—both individually and collectively.

The weekly changing theme ensures that as many employees as possible find topics that interest them throughout the year. Several short messages reach a broader audience than one long message packed with many recommendations. Someone may not need support in improving focus this week but may feel inspired by next week’s theme on empathy skills.

Monday’s Good Deed is an example of how a simple idea can create tremendous impact. Congratulations to Seure for this creative and effective communication initiative!

CSC awarded for an inspiring implementation

The Golden Star prize is awarded to CSC, who have implemented new training programs with exceptional impact already in its first year.

The goal was to achieve over 100 completed courses and by the end of the year, the number of completions had nearly doubled that target. This demonstrates strong commitment to competence development and a genuine culture of learning reflected in everyday work.

CSC built clear foundations for learning and successfully inspired its employees to develop their skills in new ways. While the first year is often about getting used to new practices, for CSC it has been, above all, a bold leap toward continuous learning and impactful results.

CSC’s example shows that when goals are clearly set and effective learning tools are provided, even the first year can significantly exceed expectations.

Congratulations to CSC for an excellent start and an impressive learning achievement!

LähiTapiola awarded for an exceptional learning culture

The Golden Star prize is awarded to LähiTapiola, who have exceptionally succeeded in integrating micro-library content into its existing practices and materials.

LähiTapiola hasn’t only adopted the content but has created a place for it within everyday processes. This learner-centered approach has made the materials easy to utilize in various situations.

When learning content is woven into existing operating models, the threshold for learning becomes lower, and employees can easily find the right materials at the right time. LähiTapiola is an excellent example of an organization that has successfully built context around learning, and this has also led to outstanding activity levels.

LähiTapiola’s work shows that the most impactful learning occurs when new content naturally connects with what the organization is already doing.

Congratulations to LähiTapiola for this insightful and impactful way of making learning part of everyday work!

TEK awarded for outstanding collaborative learning of working life skills

The Golden Star prize is awarded to TEK, who have built a clear and effective practice for learning working life skills and have implemented it consistently throughout the year.

TEK has utilized Academy of Brain’s content in a way that emphasizes the power of learning together. Once a month, employees gather for shared “Skill Moments,” where they watch content, pause to reflect, and discuss what they have learned together. This approach not only enables learning, it creates space and time for discussion, sharing thoughts, and collective insight.

When learning is made visible and becomes part of everyday workplace life, consistency emerges that carries forward. TEK’s steady and persistent implementation is strong evidence that collaborative learning can build not only new skills but also a culture where learning belongs to everyone.

TEK’s example shows how everyday shared moments can grow into shared learning and meaningful impact.

Congratulations to TEK for this inspiring initiative that strengthens collaborative learning!
